Always in our hearts

I am so sorry for your loss. Kurt was a great man, mentor, and person at heart. I can still remember little league baseball at Kelly field, where Kurt and Lynn made time to teach the basics to a group of rowdy boys from Kelly, KS. "Keep your back elbow up, level swing, and follow through!"

So sorry for your loss

I would like to offer my sincerest condolences during this difficult time, the loss of a loved one can be a painful experience. I hope you can find a measure of comfort in God's Word the Bible. For example, in Revelation 21:4 it mentions a time that is coming when death will be no more and in John 5:28,29 it says how all those in the memorial tomb will come out. So we will have the opportunity to see our loved ones again. For more information about this topic and much more please visit JW. org.

Very sorry

I’m so very sorry for the loss. I know this is a very difficult time losing such a wonderful person. God sees what you are going through and he knows of your deep heartache and the many tears you’ve shed and he wants to sustain you in the days ahead. He talks to us through the pages of the Bible. At 2 Corinthians 4:7 it says that God can give us, “… power beyond what is normal,” to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that you will no longer cry or that you will forget, but it means he will help you regain strength because of the hope he had written down. When Jesus was on earth he saw the grief that his friends Martha and Mary experienced at the death of their brother, Lazarus. His heart was pained by their great sadness that he cried (John 11:35). It so moved him to take action and resurrect Lazarus. When he did, everyone was so joyful at having Lazarus back with them. This example is to hopefully give you assurance that he will also resurrect Kurt. Jesus Christ talked about this hope in John 5:28, “… all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out.” Jesus was referring to the resurrection as the hope that can help anchor you. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, this hope of seeing Kurt again is what God wants to give you now to help keep you from drowning in overwhelming sadness. Also a scripture at Job 14:14, 15 says that those asleep in the grave will wake up. The earth will then be filled with happy, healthy people who will never get sick, grow old, or pass away ever again. (Psalms 37:39) May you find comfort in knowing this and that God has a longing to conquer that enemy of death by means of the resurrection (Revelation 21:4) so you can be happy again.
