Eric L. Eisenbarth

Eric L. Eisenbarth, 25, of rural Soldier, Kansas, died July 28, 1997 at his home.
He was born July 22, 1972 in Seneca, the son of Clyde and Dorothy Lichter Eisenbarth. He lived on the family farm southeast of Corning, and helped in the operation of the family farm. In May 1991 he graduated from Centralia High School. In May 1996 he graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education. During college he worked at the Derby Dining Center on campus. He served as a student supervisor at the university. After graduation he was employed as a substitute teacher at Holton, Jackson Heights and Rock Creek school district near Wamego, Kansas. He had recently signed a contract to teach science at St. Xavier High School in Junction City this coming fall.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Corning, Kansas, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1769 in Seneca. He loved sports especially playing golf.
Survivors are his parents, Clyde and Dorothy Eisenbarth of Soldier; four brothers, John Eisenbarth and Tim Eisenbarth both of Soldier, Randy Eisenbarth of Hutchison, Jess Eisenbarth of Onaga; a sister, Annette Schreiber of Soldier; and his grandmother, Thelma Eisenbarth of Seneca.
A rosary was prayed on Thursday evening, July 31, at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Mass of Christian Burial was prayed at 10 AM Friday, August 1, at St. Patrick’s Church in Corning. Burial was in the church cemetery.
