Rosalee A. Stallbaumer, 78, of Seneca, died peacefully, with her family by her side, on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her home in Seneca.
She was born on December 16, 1938 in Loveland, Colorado to Anthony and Bernice Karnowski Brinker. She attended Centralia School and graduated in 1956.
She married Eldon “Corky” L. Stallbaumer on April 29, 1961 at St. Patrick’s Church in Corning. In 1983, the couple started Carpet Center of Seneca, and remained active in the business until her death.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Seneca.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Luke Brinker, Elaine Brinker and Katherine Haverkamp. She is survived by her husband Corky of 55 years; two daughters, Roberta (Joe) Orth of Overland Park, Kansas and Janelle (Greg) Nelson of Plattsburg, Missouri; three grandchildren, Layla Wilson, Lucas King and Austin Norton; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Haverkamp of Leavenworth, Kansas; a sister-in-law, Judy Hein Marion, Kansas; and her extended family, Bernard and Sue Bartley and Neal and Marlene Bartley both of Topeka.
A Private Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, March 28th at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Corning.
Memorials are for Nemaha Valley Community Hospital sent in care of the Lauer Funeral Home.
