Harold L. Carr

Harold Lee Carr, 67, of Seneca, lost his battle against cancer on Friday, November 24, 2017 at his home.
Harold was born in Corning, Kansas on September 22, 1950 to Harry and Marian Adams Carr. The family moved to Seneca in 1954, and Harold attend Seneca Public School; in 1969, graduating from Seneca Public High School.
As a young man Harold worked for Missouri Petroleum Road construction for a few years. He returned to Seneca and was employed by National By-Products before moving to Lincoln to work for Cushman Motors. Then in 1976, he returned to Seneca, this time to work alongside of his father at Carr Welding. In 1990, he took on a job at Mac in Sabetha, retiring in 2016.
Harold married Carol Henrichs at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca on November 19, 1977.
Harold was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Seneca. He was an avid sport enthusiastic, he loved all of the local sports that involved his kids while they were growing up and continued to watch the Seneca American Legion Ball team, and Nemaha Valley and now Nemaha Central sports teams.
Harold is survived by his wife, Carol of 40 years; his children, Erica Carr of Charlotte, South Caroline, Austin Carr of Kansas City and Airman 1st Class Adam Carr of Wichita Falls, Texas; his mother, Marian Carr of Seneca; his brothers, Harry Carr Jr. of Topeka, Richard Carr of Seneca and Bill Carr of Seneca; his sisters, Nancy Lang of Wichita, Linda Dishong of Seneca, Mary Stong of Seneca, Daisy Heptig of Flush, Tamie Newcomb of Sabetha and Penny Fee of Beatrice, Nebraska.
Rosaries will be prayed at 2 & 7 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials will be designated at a later date, sent in care of the family.
