Aaron Kent Holthaus, 42, of Greensboro, North Carolina, died unexpectedly on December 3, 2019.
Aaron was born on October 21, 1977 in Seneca, KS to Randy & Donna Holthaus. He graduated from Nemaha Valley High School in 1996. He later attended Manhattan Area Technical College and was an electrical lineman.
Aaron loved the outdoors, woodworking, watching the Chiefs and K-State football, and spending time with his girls, who were his pride and joy.
Aaron was preceded in death by grandparents, Vincent & Dorothy Haverkamp, and Henry & Vera Holthaus; and his father, Randy, on February 11, 2013.
Aaron is survived by his daughters, Addyson & Emery Holthaus of Youngsville, North Carolina; his mother, Donna of Seneca; his sisters, Nicole Clark of Topeka and Carrie (Cory) Holthaus of Seneca; and nieces and nephews, Lacey & Kyle Clark of Topeka and Chase, Cayden, and Callie Holthaus of Seneca.
There will be Celebration of Life on December 28th, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul School Cafeteria, in Seneca, Kansas. The Holthaus family invites friends and family to join them to share their favorite memories of Aaron. There will be light snacks provided. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Addyson & Emery Holthaus Educational Fund, sent in care of Lauer Funeral Home, 212 S 4th St., Seneca, KS 66538.

I am so sorry for your loss..I had the wonderful opportunity of working with Aaron the last few years of my career at Westar with Aaron…he was a wonderful person, intelligent, hard working, and always there for the employees. I considered him a friend….May God give you comfort….
