Mary Pauline Haug

Mary Pauline Haug, 72, Seneca, died Thursday, March 25, 1971, at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca where she had been a patient since March 2.
She was born on January 25, 1899, five miles north of Seneca and spent her life in Nemaha County. She lived in the St. Benedict community northwest of Seneca many years before she moved into Seneca in December of 1970.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca and the St. Ann’s Altar society at the church.
She married William Haug on April 13, 1921 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church I St. Benedict, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Lambert, Abilene, Ernest Haug, of Seneca, and William Haug Jr. of Topeka. Three daughters; Mrs. Florence Hulsing, Baileyville, Mrs. Bernice Nordhus, of Seneca and Mrs. Patricia Stallbaumer, of Seneca and her mother Mrs. Frank Haverkamp Sr. of Seneca. Also surviving are six brothers, George Haverkamp, Edwin Haverkamp, Joseph Haverkamp, Alphonse Haverkamp all of Seneca, Lawrence Haverkamp of Kelly and Frank Haverkamp Jr. of Goff, five sisters, Mrs. Anna Boeding, of Goff, Mrs. Ferdinand Steinlage and Mrs. William Steinlage, both of Corning and Mrs. Raymond Bergman of St. Benedict and MRs Alma Holthaus of Centralia; 44 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Rosaries will be prayed at 8 P.M. of Saturday and Sunday at the Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Mas
ss of Christian Burial will be a t10 A.M. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
