Marilyn A. Crevier Sibold

Marilyn A. Sibold, 65, of St. Benedict, Kansas passed away unexpectedly in her home on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
Marilyn was born in Seneca on June 26, 1956 to Leo E. and Charlene LaFond Crevier. She grew up in Seneca and attended Seneca Public Elementary, Junior High and Nemaha Valley High School, graduating with the Class of 1974.
As a young woman she went to work for C&R Industry in Seneca, where she was employed for 20 years. She was a “lunch lady” at Seneca Public Grade School before going to work at Blue Valley Telemarketing in Home City, Kansas. Her health required early retirement and she spent the last few years being a loving grandmother.
Marilyn enjoyed connecting with family and friends thru Facebook. She liked reimaging and redecorating her home in St. Benedict. The last few years her constant companion and solace was her Yorkie, Little Bella.
Marilyn is preceded death by her grandparents, Jane Helen (Nault) and Albert Charles LaFond and Leo L. and Edna G. Shockey Crevier; her parents, Leo on November 28, 2003 and her mother, Charlene Ann (LaFond) Crevier on December 31, 2021; her son, Jeremy Nevels on April 8, 2011; and her brother, Kenneth Crevier on January 13, 2018.
She is survived by of her children, Jamie (Mary) Crevier of Baileyville, Kansas and Aaron (Rilie) Sibold of Lawrence; siblings, Dan (Cindie) Crevier of Spring Hill, Kansas, Carolyn Sue (Vern) Haverkamp of Goff, Terry (Jenny) Crevier of Rogersville, Missouri, and Larry (Tonia) Crevier of Springfield, Missouri, as well as sister-in-law, Teena Crevier of Seneca; daughter-in-law, Maria Blanton of Hiawatha; nine grandchildren, Rowan, Nola, Ian, Marissa, Khloe, Keaton, Max, Jaiden and Cody; and three great-grandchildren, Zayleigh, Seraphina and Emma Lynn and a 4th great-granddaughter due in July of 2022.
A visitation will be held at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca from 6- 7 P.M. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. The Funeral Service will be held at 10A.M. at Lauer Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Burial will be in the Seneca City Cemetery.
