Besides her husband, Ben, Mildred was preceded in death her son, Gerald “ Jerry” Joseph Hermesch on August 9, 1957; three brothers, Kenneth, Donald and Elmer Lehmkuhl; and four sisters, Virginia Wilhelm, Delores Haler, Jeanette Barkley, and Jane Gay.

Mildred is survived by her daughter Betty (Jerry) Banaka of Manhattan.

Betty, we all lost a sweet lady–you and your husband have our prayers and sympathy. I enjoyed working with your Mom at the Rest Home and also later doing her hair–we always had good laughs.

Betty, you and Jerry have our deepest sympathy. Your mom and dad were the best neighbors. They helped us so much when we moved next to them. I loved sitting on their driveway with them on summer evenings, chatting with them. They had some interesting stories to tell. Miss them both very much.

Betty, I remember going to your home when you lived on the farm in Wetmore. We always had good times. I know my parents always considered your parents their friends. I will keep her and your family in my prayers.
