Amy J. Hulsing

Amy J. Hulsing, 38, of Centralia, KS, died Wednesday evening, March 14, 2007, at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Amy was born on May 5, 1968 at the Seneca Hospital, the daughter of R.L. “Pete” and Janet Dalsing Warnica. She attended grade school at Sts. Peter & Paul and graduated from Nemaha Valley High School in 1986. After high school, she went to work for CR Industries. Then in 1995, she owned and operated the Eight Ball Tavern (now Spanky’s) on Main Street in Seneca. Later after selling the business, she went to work at the Sac and Fox Casino and then the Golden Eagle Casino. She was then hired by Koch and Company, where she was working at the time of her death.

On April 29, 1991, she married Roger Hulsing at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. They had three children, and later divorced.

Amy was a devoted mother. She took pleasure in spending time with her children. She loved motorcycling, fishing, and water sports. She also enjoyed team penning and rodeos. Amy was a free spirited person who loved life.

Survivors are her fiancé, Michael “Skippy” Bailey, of the home; three daughters, Shelby, Brie and Kymra, all of Seneca; her mother, Janet Warnica of Seneca; three brothers, David of Cincinnati OH, Charles and John, both of Manhattan, KS; and two sisters, Lynn Bramhall of Vermillion and Jean Koch of Seneca.

Her father Pete preceded her in death on August 28, 1982.

Funeral service will be 10 AM on Saturday, March 17, at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Burial will be in the Sts. Peter & Paul Church Cemetery in Seneca. There will be a visitation from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given for her Children’s Education Fund, and sent in care of the family.
