Sorry to hear about your loss of Tony. I remember that he always seemed to be around the baseball field in Corning – either helping out or umpiring or discussing how the play “should have gone” with my Dad! We will keep you in our prayers.

Tony is a large part of all my memories of growing up in Corning. I very much appreciated Tony, as he and Anna Marie, as is the areas custom, made me feel like part of their family.

I was able to know all of their children and played baseball, volleyball, or hunted with them as a child and adult. Tony and Anna Marie raised a wonderful family.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Anna Marie you and I have a long history of friendship. You and Tony were married just after us in 1958. Since then we have kept in contact at school reunions. Now we are in the same stage life, as new widows. May you have peace in a marriage well lived and know your spouse is waiting for you in heaven. Hopefully God will leave us here for several years to guide our grands and greats. Love from old friend Nadine.

So sorry for your loss, specially to Loren.Your Dad was always easy to visit with he was always sure Seneca got more rain than they got in Corning. I would laugh and say good farmers didn”t need that much rain, then he would laugh. Rest in peace Tony, you deserve it.

We got to know Tony and Anna Marie in August 1986, preparing for Bruce and Jackie’s wedding. Tony worked so hard to get the church in tip top shape for the occasion. Over the years, we have been blessed to be around him at birthdays, weddings and other events with Bruce and Jackie’s family. Always such a soft spoken man who truly loves God, family and his community. This morning, when I got in my car to come to work, “Go Rest High on That Mountain” was playing on the radio. What a fitting song for this day. No doubt, Tony went to heaven, “a shoutin” as his work on earth is done.

Anna Marie and the Heideman Family,

I am sorry I was not able to make it back to Corning today. I always enjoyed discussing the highs and lows of the Kansas City Royals with Tony. Maybe Tony can send some divine help to the Royals this year.

You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
