She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a member of Saint Ann’s Altar Society, sang in the church choir and she helped stitch many quilts that were sold on the church picnic.
She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events, playing cards with friends, quilting, crocheting, embroidering and cooking for her family (she sometimes had a secret for certain recipes) and going to the Casino with her dear friends MaryLou Koelzer and Virginia Koelzer.
She loved watching all sporting events especially the B&B Falcons, Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs.
During her stay at Crestview, she became very close to the staff and thought of them as family.
