Carter Alan Haverkamp, precious baby boy of Cole and Jill (Rottinghaus) Haverkamp was born into the arms of angels December 20, 2019 at Stormont Vail Hospital. Born at 31 weeks, he weighed 4 pounds 1 ounce and was 17 1/4 inches long. Although Carter never spent any time with us on earth, he was very loved and touched many lives. Our little angel will never be forgotten.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Albert A. Rottinghaus on December 28, 2000; maternal great-grandparents, Norbert Gress on July 21, 2016 and Maleta Gress on November 25, 1984; paternal great-grandfather, Robert Haverkamp on January 23, 2005; paternal great- grandparents, Dean Farwell on October 17, 2019 and Loree Farwell on October 17, 2019; and a cousin, Hudson Rottinghaus on April 4, 2017.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his 3 year old sister, Kayla; maternal grandparents, Wayne and Marilyn Rottinghaus of Seneca; paternal grandparents, Alan and Ronda Haverkamp of Bern; maternal great-grandmother Helen Rottinghaus of Seneca; paternal great-grandmother, Janice Haverkamp of Seneca; Aunts and Uncles, Sara Rottinghaus of Seneca, Tammy Rottinghaus of Seneca, Curtis and Megan Haverkamp of Bern; and Kristin Haverkamp and fiancé Josh Klug of Manhattan; and a cousin, McKenzie Rottinghaus of Seneca. He had several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
The Mass of Angels will be on held on Thursday, December 26th at 10 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Benedict, with the burial in the church cemetery.
Memorials are to be designated at a later date.
