I am so very sorry to hear about cousin Gilbert’s passing. I am especially sorry that I cannot attend his funeral because I am in Guatemala doing teacher training. My love to the entire family. What a special guy.

Dad and Gilbert had a special connection. They never ran out of things to talk about over a pot of coffee. Dad respected Gilbert for a variety of reasons and you kids were near the top of the list. As you move forward cherish your memories and know Gilbert is at the Lords table now.

Thank you Karen for your kind words. Definitely agree about the pots of coffee our dad & Rex consumed. I think the two of them talked about everything under the sun.
