Glenn F. Steinlage

Glenn F. Steinlage, 19, Kelly, died December 24,1972 at a Topeka hospital where he had been admitted earlier that morning. He was injured in a one car accident three miles east of Centralia.
Glenn was born June 10, 1953 on the family farm west of Kelly. His parents are Bernard and Marjorie E. Nolte Steinlage. He grew up in the Kelly community and attended St. Bede’s Grade School. He attended Kelly High School for two years and graduated from Nemaha Valley High School in the class of 1971. After graduation Glenn was employed at Mid-America Dairymen at Sabetha, Kansas.
He was a member of St. Bede’s Catholic Church and St. Aloysius Society. Glenn was a well known and well liked young man in the area.
Survivors beside his parents, are two sisters Geralynn and Gerimarie of the home, and four brothers, Gary, Dennis and Douglas of the home and Richard of U.S. Navy.
Glenn was preceded in death by a sister Roxann, January 3, 1961.
The Rosary will be recited at Lauer Funeral Home on Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. The funeral mass will be offered on Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Bede’s Church, Kelly.
The pallbearers will be Lynn Huerter, Wayne Ronnebaum, Jim Schultejans, Jerry Schultejans, Bernie Ronnebaum and Tom Haverkamp. The servers will be Gary Kohake, Rick Huerter Bill Heinen, and Steve Holthaus. Burial will be at St. Bede’s cemetery.
