James Wright
Goff, Kansas

James Wright, 82, died on May 15, 2024 at his home in Goff of complication of cancer.
James was born on January 5, 1942 in Junction City, to Jack Elisha and Della Maxine Cummings. He grew up in that community and attended Ogden Grade School; he went to Manhattan High and graduated in 1950.
After he got out of school, he went to work in the oil fields and drove trucks. Later he was employed by Hess and Sons Salvage and also the Highland Cemetery.
James was a member of the Methodist Church.
James was preceded in death by Jack and Della Wright, Tammy Nation, Joe Nation, Sally McGinnis and Caroline (Blossom) Scott.
He is survived by his life partner, since December 25, 1986, Elizabeth Lundholm of Goff. He is also survived by James and Natilie Nation of Topeka, Harold and Kim Nation of Louisville, Kentucky, Jacob and Valerie Lundholm of Beatrice, Nebraska, Roxie (Ester) Scott of Centralia, Pattie Wright of Navarre, Kansas; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
An inurnment will be at a later date at the Navarre Cemetery in Navarre, Kansas.
