Kenneth "Kenny" Crevier

Kenneth “Kenny” Crevier, 59, of Seneca died in his home on Saturday, January 13, 2018.
Kenny was born in Seneca on April 28, 1958 to Leo E. and Charlene LaFond Crevier. Kenny grew up in Seneca and attended Seneca Public Elementary and Junior High and Nemaha Valley High School as a member of the Class of 1977.
As a young man he went to work helping his father as a blacksmith at the Crevier Welding Shop. Kenny was employed from 1979-1981 he was a member of the Gary Dexter Harvesting Crew. He drove a semi-truck for J-Six; until he was able to save enough to purchase his own rig. As an independent contractor he transported pre-fabricated homes throughout the Midwest, delivering them to their permanent location. In 2005, due to health issues he was forced to retire.
Kenny married Teena Koelzer on May 7, 1983 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. The couple celebrated 34 years of marriage. He was a parishioner of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
Kenny loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed demolition derby races and collecting coins. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Leo on November 28, 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Teena of Seneca; children Elicia “Lacey” Crevier of Seneca, Shaun Crevier of Sabetha and Casey Crevier of Seneca; his mother, Charlene Crevier of Seneca and siblings, Daniel of Spring Hill, Kansas, Terry of Rogersville, Missouri and Larry of Springfield, Missouri, Marilyn Sibold of St. Benedict and Carolyn Sue Haverkamp of Goff.
Rosaries will be prayed on Tuesday, January 16th at 2 & 7PM at Lauer Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Seneca. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorials will be designated at a later date.
