I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing her with all of us.
All my love,

Aunt Millie was a treat! She had the ability to make each of us (nieces or nephews) feel as though we were her favorite! We visited with her shortly after her move into the assisted living facility. She was trying really hard to explain the positive aspect to us. The operative word is “positive “. Her glass was always half full. She was dressed to the nines as if expecting company! Hair done and lipstick on. She showed us her exercises that she did twice daily and made me promise to keep moving. Still have 2 old crockery bowls from their farm sale and would send her pictures of whatever I had decided to put in them. She was so easy to love!
Know that our hearts and prayers are with you….and that she is happy with to be again with Ray…and the rest of her first family.

Sorry for the loss of your mother. Millie was always happy and enjoyed herself. I am sure her dedication to regular exercise and healthy diet helped to live the long life she enjoyed.

Pat, Mike & John and extended family,
So sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Pat, there aren’t to many of our parents alive in our class anymore and your were so fortunate to have your mother for so long! Your mother was a beautiful person and it made a lot of us think and hope we’d look as good as she when we’d get to her age!!
May the Dear Lord be with all of you as you Celebrate her Life here on Earth.
Heaven opened its Pearly Gates to a Sweet and Beautiful Angel!!
God Bless!!

So sorry for your loss. Mildred was a special lady and friend.
Thank you all for the lovely comments. We loved her so much. She was the best.
Mike Oenbring
Millie always loved rocking those babies at the hospital!!! She always had a smile on her face; which in turn put a smile on every face she met!! She will be missed in this community, where everyone knew her!!
So saddened to read that Millie passed away. She was such a kind, sweet lady, a ray of sunshine. Our deepest sympathies.
Millie was a co-worker to so many of us who worked at the hospital. She would arrive to the hospital in her crisp, white uniform ready for her shift. Sometimes when the weather was bad, Raymond would bring her to work. She was so dedicated and loved by so many. We will all miss seeing her around.
Rest in Peace, Millie.
I remember Mrs. Oenbring being such a pretty lady and treated everyone so nicely. …..It has been more than 55 years since I last saw her or her sons. I was in the same class at St. Michaels in Axtell from 1st grade to 4th grade…Same class as Mike. So sorry for your loss. Pat Murray-Meriden, KS.
Our family would like to express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mildred A. Oenbring. Words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one, and death is truly a painful enemy to the human family. Please take comfort in 2 scriptures found in God’s Word the Bible. John 5:28,29 speaks of the resurrection, and Revelation 21:3,4 promises the time in the future when death and mourning will be no more. Our prayers are with you.
Pat, Mike and John,
I just read in the Courier about your mom’s passing. I’m so sorry for your loss. As we were neighbor kids growing up across the creek, your mom was always so delightful to be around. A light has gone out here on earth but I’m sure she’s making heaven a brighter place.
