Roger C. Eisenbarth, 48, of Sabetha, KS, formerly of Corning, died late Wednesday evening April 6, 2011 at his home, Lakeside Terrace, in Sabetha.
He was born on November 2, 1962 at the Seneca Hospital to Wilfrid and Rosalia “Sally” Weber Eisenbarth of Corning. He was born handicapped and attended a school in Seneca for his special needs. In March of 1999 he moved to Sabetha to reside at Lakeside Terrace. While living in Sabetha he attended the Nemaha County Training Center.
He was known for his infectious smile, and he loved the outdoors, old TV shows and music.
He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Corning.
Survivors are two brothers, Francis Eisenbarth of Fairfax, VA and Thomas Eisenbarth of Netawaka; four sisters, Betty Becker of Corning, Patricia Flentie of Centralia, Mary J. Eisenbarth of St. Joseph, MO and Marlene Wolfe of Centreville, VA; several nieces an nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Elaine Becker.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 AM Monday, April 11, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Corning. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rosaries will be prayed at 2 & 7 PM Sunday, April 10, at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca.
Memorials may be given in Roger’s memory for Lakeside Terrace or Nemaha County Home Health and Hospice, and sent in care of the family.
