Serenity and Grace Heinen died May 1, 2014 at Overland Park Regional Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas.

Serenity and Grace were born May 1, 2014, the twin daughters, of Russell and Kendra Mauck Heinen. Though their time here on earth was brief, the love they felt and gave will last for eternity.

They were preceded in death by grandparents, George Mauck and Faith Artz Budensiek, a great-uncle Joseph Haug.

They are survived by their parents, Russell and Kendra Mauck Heinen of Merriam, Kansas; maternal grandparents, Brad and Connie Mauck of Great Bend, Kansas; maternal great-grandparents Verna Mauck of Stockton, Kansas and Harold and Becki Budensiek of Cedar Falls, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Kent and Margie Heinen of Kelly; and paternal great-grandparents, Ernie and Rita Haug of Seneca and Melvin and Irene Heinen of Kelly.

Burial was in the St. Bede’s Catholic Cemetery in Kelly, Fr. Arul Carasala officiated the services.
